Senior Vice President Of Consulting Operations

The division is led by Marilyn Ramirez, RN, MSN, RAC-CT, WCC, Senior Vice President Of Consulting Operations. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Catherine University. She has served in various healthcare leadership positions in post-acute care, emphasizing clinical training, quality programming, education, and reimbursement systems.

Having worked as a chief nursing officer for a multi-site non for profit and regional director of clinical reimbursement for a multi-state for-profit provider, she was instrumental in advancing clinical training and programming, quality of care outcomes, and maximizing nursing facility reimbursement. She has extensive experience training and mentoring MDS nurses on Medicare requirements and reimbursement. In addition, she has a track record of building education and systems surrounding the MDS process while incorporating nursing evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance.

Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Jennie Ducat, RN BSN, RAC-CT, CMAC, is the Senior Director of Clinical Operations for MDS Solutions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Herzing University in Madison, WI.

Jennie has extensive acute and post-acute care experience, specifically in clinical reimbursement and leadership roles. Jennie has a passion for applying her extensive knowledge of the RAI process, Quality Measures, case-mix, and PDPM to provide resident-centered care that is results-driven. In addition to her hands on experience, she also enjoys providing education and training to leadership teams, MDS nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Director of Clinical Education

Samantha Schild, RN, RAC-CT, WCC is the Director of Clinical Education for MDS Solutions. She earned her nursing degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, WI.

Samantha has experience in several roles in the long-term care industry including clinical, wound management, case management, and clinical reimbursement. She has worked for many years for large skilled nursing chains as the MDS Coordinator and director of reimbursement departments. She enjoys providing education and mentoring to new MDS nurses, process improvement, and ongoing training to other members of the interdisciplinary team. Samantha is results driven and possesses skillsets that allow her to obtain financial success for her clients.
